I started leading in my church at thirteen. That is twenty-five years inside weekends now. Churches of fifty, churches of fifteen thousand, and most of the sizes in between. The buildings were different. The budgets were different. The staff was different. The systems were identical.
What I want for your church is plain. I want the Sunday you can already see in your head to happen on purpose, week after week, whether or not you are at your best that morning. Not a better idea. A weekend that holds without you carrying it.
In 2017 I lost my left hand and had to rebuild how I do almost everything. That is where I learned what I now teach. Systems are what let you keep going on the days you cannot power through.
